Appendix 7: Snapshots of women in COG
Published in January 2023, the book Snapshots in Women grew out of a series of videoed conversations COG-UK organised with women from both within COG-UK and beyond who played an important role during the pandemic. By highlighting their voices, both the conversations are designed to highlight the all too-often hidden contributions of women to the pandemic to serve as an inspiration to younger women looking to pursue a scientific career. Together their experiences also provide insights into how to balance a successful scientific career at the same time as achieving a fulfilling personal and family life.
